in a camp of yellow flowers

Dreams… a weird thing that humans (and animals, I think) can do.
To me, a dream is something that comes to your mind when you are sleeping, it could be like a movie, or just images. Some experts say that these images are from our subconscious and they can talk about our aspirations as humans or maybe our fears. Yes, it might be a way that our brain uses to clean out our hidden information.

I’m not good at all remembering all of my dreams but the ones that I could remember, they stay forever in my mind. I know, it is weird, but is true. They use to come back to my memory when I’m doing something that demands me concentration, or some deep focus. This usually happens to me when I’m painting or walking around and my mind starts to divagate. Sometimes I believe it is cool and I could pain my dreams. It would be awesome.

Most of the times my dreams are in color. I like it, but somewhere I red that it makes us have a spend of mind that can causes us tiredness.

I have one dream that always comes to my mind when I start to think about having a relaxing time: it is about a girl that is wearing a blue dress and she is standing just in the middle of a camp of yellow flowers (it’s weird, but I just founded a picture in Goolge, pretty much like this dream :O !!!). This girl stars to round and round, with her arms opened, like a helicopter, and suddenly, she falls down and starts to laugh. It’s a nice dream I think, but I don’t know why always is the same dream.

somewhere only we know...

One of the things that I really like to do is visit different part of the city very time I can. About that, I think it would be amazing to do, but in a different part of the world.

One of my greatest dreams has been going to Europe, United Kingdom, specifically. I’ve always thought that this is a beautiful country for all the things that we can find there: the culture, the beautiful and ancient architecture, the activities that people do,  the green spaces everywhere and, of course, the way that art can be developed.

I know the country includes the island of Great Britain, the north-eastern part of the island of Ireland and many smaller islands. It counts with four countries: England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, so, it’s a country with many cultures because it counts with different kinds of histories and experiences. The capital of the country is London, the beautiful London, with plentiful rainfall all year round and with the Tamesis River just in the middle of it. Perfect.

If I had the possibility to go there, I would like to spend my time in London, walking around the city, visiting the famous museums and buildings, like Westminster Abbey or some university, like Cambridge.

Of course I wouldn’t forget about Glasgow. It has an exquisite architecture and the music there is pretty good, like Liverpool, the place of The Beatles, my favorite band ever. I’d like to go to Bristol, just to see how the life in a small city is.

Finally, I would go to Stonehenge, and I think is not too necessary to explain this idea… it is just fantastic.

I’d love to study and live there. It’s a nice country and I think I could handle with the coldness of the British people.

tv and movies :D love it!

Watch tv and go to the movies are some things that I really enjoy to do. I think it’s because those activities make me see the life in a different way, with other perspectives. It’s like watching our own world as another one.

I watch films everywhere I can, every place has something that makes the experience original or special. For example, in my house I’m able to watch a movie every time I want, it’s cheapest and sometimes more comfortable than going to the movies. I also can call some friend of mine and invite her (or him) to have a nice time in my home.

By the other hand, going to the cinema it’s like going to a restaurant or Fantasilandia: you have a nice time there and it worth the money you spend. It is fun, I think. The big screen, the surround, the popcorns (I’m huge fan of popcorns and there’s nowhere better to get them), everything there makes you have a good evening, and is better if you go with someone special.

I have a lot of favorites films because I’ve seen many of them. “Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind” is fantastic, I really love drama films. I also like “Black Swann”, of Natalie Portman (this actress is fantastic, I actually love all her work). this film is about a girl that makes everythig to be perfect in what she really loves in life: dancing ballet.

I believe that movies are made to entertain people, and it is exactly what I feel watching a movie: fun and a twister of emotions. I totally love it.

this term... my first and weird term

This year we’ve been doing some more things besides studying.

Personally, I study journalism in Universidad de Chile. My campus was one of the first places of the university that decided to take some politics about the kind of education we were having. We had 4 months of classes because my Institute joined the strike when May was ending but it was cool, I might say. We were mobilized all the winter and finally it became the biggest student’s mobilization of our history.

Right now we came back to classes and it has been really weird. The first semester ended up by October… it never happened before in my entire life. We are having classes with 30ºC, sometimes I fell sorry for not being in a nice pool or in the beach, maybe. I’m sure this is going to be one my longest summers, and not the most relaxed.

But, by the other hand, it might result a good new kind of summer. I’ll be able to see my friends every day; to have pretty good Friday nights and the classes won’t be as hard as they suppose to be. It will take time to get used to it, but is something easy to accept.

I believe I HAVE to get used to this kind of years because all the people say: “Is Universidad de Chile, what where you expecting? And it is funny; I like to know that my university is worried about having a better country in the future.
